It’s not because of the extra long and crowded church service. It’s the one time of year where it’s okay to basically eat candy all day long. I realize this isn’t the point of Easter. There’s a much bigger spiritual reason why I my family celebrates.
I was joking around at a family dinner about this being my kids’ new favorite holiday because they’re able to eat candy all day long. Every other holiday typical leaves the deserts to after dinner. Christmas you could get some candy in your stocking so I guess it’s kind of similar. Halloween has stupid rules that don’t allow kids to start until 6pm. Thanksgiving makes you wait until the pumpkin pie after the dinner. Our family is the exception to our morning breakfast.
Now we’re all crashing after our sugar highs from earlier today.
