Yesterday, my family celebrated our son’s birthday with a Dinosaur themed party with family and friends. At the end of the night, our house was destroyed, my wife and I were exhausted, and the party was completely worth it. The first thing my young son did this morning was when he woke up was start singing the Happy Birthday song.
Little moments like our songs early morning rendition of the birthday song or when both of our kids were passed out on the couch after the party. These are the moments that make life worth living.
It’s why I tried to spend most of yesterday practicing gratitude for being given the opportunity to have days like this.
