A few week’s ago, I read Gary Vaynerchuk’s Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook. Love Gary Vee and the effort he puts into his craft and all the work he publishes including this book.
I thought Crush It! is the better book and if you want to read one of his books then read it now. What JJJRH does well is give you plenty of examples on how to start marketing campaigns on social media with tons of examples on what brands should and shouldn’t try to on the different platforms.
The key takeaway
It’s so simple but so many people still ignore it. Don’t get lazy with you copy and don’t treat every platform the same. You wouldn’t treat TV, radio, or print in the same way. Then you shouldn’t treat Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or Snapchat the same. Yeah it creates more work for you but either put in the work or prepare to get passed by the competition.
