Bookbinge: Accidental Genius by Mark Levy

Last week, I finished, Accidental Genius: Using Writing to Generate Your Best Ideas, Insight, and Content by Mark Levy,  it was even better than the PMBA review that convinced me to buy this book.  The main theme of this book is built around Mark’s process called, “freewriting.”

I’ve been practicing my own version of freewriting for the past few years but I always felt like I was cheating or not really writing.  That’s why it was so refreshing to read about a similar process to what I was already doing and that it’s been tremendously helpful for Mark and his clients.

The books full of rules to help you practice the process of freewriting and how to turn your freewriting into content for paid gigs, your blog, or books.

If you you’ve been struggling with your habit of writing more consistently than I couldn’t recommend this book enough.  Accidental Genius is a quick read that will give you easy to implement practices into your life and improve your ability to generate ideas for content.

I might reread it again to make sure I didn’t miss any key points.
