I’ve been on a Brene Brown kick these last two days. This blog post relates to yesterday’s post about scarcity and enough.
In The Power of Vulnerability, Brene talks about the whole hearted people she interviewed almost always practiced gratitude. The were grateful for the positive things in their life. It wasn’t natural for all of the people she interviewed. Many of them needed to work at it. That’s exactly what Brene eventually challenged her audience to do. She challenged them to actively practice gratitude everyday.
For the past week, I’ve been trying to write down one thing I’m grateful for in my life and just think about it during the day.
