One Sentence Review:
It’s a day in the life of a major comedian while he’s being interviewed by the Times, promoting his new serious movie, preparing for his reality TV wedding, and discussing his Top 5 rappers.
After 2014 was a down year for comedy, I was looking forward to this movie, but it had it’s ups and downs. The best parts are when Chris Rocks does what he does best, comedy. The scenes at his family’s house and the comedy club are the best. In the end, the whole movie felt like felt like a biopic about Eddie Murphy a comedian who did walk away from standup, unlike Chris Rock.
