One Sentence Summary:
Watch how a five year old boy and his family change over the years until he enters college.
This movie is awesome. I’m not sure which movie to pick between this and Birdman. Two great movies that are not only great films but also uniquely created. Birdman has it’s ten minute long scenes and Boyhood was filmed over a 12 year period. I loved the seamless transition in time from scene to scene. It was almost as fascinating the family age as it was to follow the storyline. This film offers the rare opportunity to watch a family age before your eyes. It’s a must see.
